Vorstellung des MA-Kooperationsseminars „Digital Innovation & Business Planning“ (DIB) mit Stephan Pierer von Esch (CFO, Customer Services Siemens Healthineers) und Martina Thaler (Head of Customer Services Finance Performance Controlling, Siemens Healthineers) für das WS 2023/24

Liebe Masterstudierende,
am Montag, den 10.07.2023 von 16.30 – 17.15 Uhr, stellt der Lehrstuhl für Rechnungswesen und Controlling (Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Fischer) gemeinsam mit Betreuern aus dem Management von Siemens Healthineers das MA-Kooperationsseminar „Digital Innovation & Business Planning“ (5 ECTS) für das WS 2023/24 vor.
Die Vorstellung wird in Präsenz (Raum LG H6) stattfinden. Eine anschließende Bewerbung ist bis Montag, den 24.07.2023 (12.00 Uhr), möglich.
Ziel des Seminars ist es, innovative Ansätze für die Umsetzung der Digitalisierung in der Finanzfunktion kennenzulernen und anzuwenden. Als Studierende erhalten Sie vertiefte Einblicke in fundamentale Konzepte wie Design Thinking und Business Planning und entwickeln Lösungsansätze für einen Praxisfall, die Sie in einem abschließenden Pitch vor der Management Jury unter Beweis stellen. Ebenfalls erhalten Sie Einblicke in die Planungssoftware Valsight, die eine werttreiberbasierte Bewertung von Business Cases ermöglicht.
Das Seminar hat einen Umfang von 5 ECTS und wird dem Bereich „Aktuelle Fragen aus FACT“ (MA-FACT, MA-WING) bzw. „Fallstudien und Projekte im Management“ (MA-Management) zugeordnet.

Dear Master students,
on Monday, July 10, 2023 (16:30 – 17:15), the Chair of Accounting and Management Control (Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Fischer) together with supervisors from the management of Siemens Healthineers will present the MA-Seminar „Digital Innovation & Business Planning“ (5 ECTS) for WT 2023/24.
The presentation will take place in room LG H6. Registration for the seminar is possible until July 24, 2023 (12 noon).
The objectives of the seminar are to understand and apply innovative approaches to the digitalization of finance. The students will be trained in customer-centric problem solving (Design Thinking), gain insights in fundamental concepts of Business Planning, and develop solutions for a business case, which they will present to the management jury in a final pitch. In addition, the seminar participants improve their digital skills with the planning software Valsight, which enables a value-driver-based valuation of specific business cases.
The seminar has a volume of 5 ECTS and is assigned to the subject “Current issues in FACT” (MA-FACT, MA-WING) or “Case studies and projects in management” (MA-Management).
